Today I had a nasty scare in which I thought I forgot to include a big plot point this chapter of Post Crusade. But then five minutes later after peeking at the blog for a refresher, I realized that no I didn’t forget. >_>
This is a problem because I’m the fucking writer and I should be keeping track of these things. <_<
All the more reason I should reeeeeeeeally update more often. >_<

I usually don’t have dreams. As in, the standard dream where your own self is the center of it all.
Most of my night thoughts is just my brain going, “Hey here’s a cool story idea and a long movie-like thing about why you should totally realize it.”
But last night I actually had a dream starring me. Something about a second car accident. :T
I’m only mentioning this because just now, my mom told me that we have to pick up the police report on my accident from New Brunswick for record purposes. Which to me spells, “OH SHIT!”
I swear, nothing kills my interest in anything on my Dash faster than video games, abundant drama, and abundant video game drama.

but that implies that our stop signs look like hands, and I assume you mean stop signs on the road so that doesn’t make any sense I’ve never seen a stop sign on the road that looked like a hand
I was more inspired that the pictogram for “don’t walk” on pedestrian crossings.
Also, the only reason why our stop signs are octagonal is because MUTCD wanted a unique sign to catch people’s attention (most signs are rectangular or triangular). A hand-shaped sign was stupid.
But a simplified hoof has a basic yet unique design that can easily be recognized as distinct from regular signs, which is important for the horses because they often use pictograms.
It also makes sense logically, considering that like our hand gesture, raising one’s hoof in front of somepony is a sign to stop.
TL;DR: I’m overthinking this horseshit to the max please leave me be in my tiny hole of random thoughts.
Have you ever set a deadline for yourself and then suddenly found yourself 5 hours behind because of random malware on your parent’s laptop, reorganizing luggage bags to save money and weight, checking in to a flight, waiting for dad to stop talking to a relative so I could get his card to pay for checking bags, and then fixing a printer to print out boarding passes?

I was heading down a freeway on a curved bridge. Guy on a motorcycle suddenly came in too fast and sideswiped me.
We’re both fine, so don’t worry.
No massive damage to the car, either. Just a couple dents and scrapes.

I know this is an OOC post, but this is important enough to make here. And no, the blog is not ending.
Over two years ago, May 2nd, 2012, was one of the worst days of my life. I was fired from my radio news reporter job. I made an OOC post about it, and it exploded across the community. That post is why I’m making this here, instead of the mod blog. It became (and still is to this day) my highest noted post ever on Ask Pirate Dash. It’s bittersweet in a sense, because the support and love I will always be grateful for, but having your most popular post ever be about your lowest moment was always weird.
But as of today, that is over. I am ready to move on. I have accepted a position at a local NPR affiliate, and the one that I am the most familiar with in my time in college. I start next month.
Over two years of persistence and hope that I could finally get back in has paid off. And I could not have done it without the support of everyone in the Tumblrpon community. Whether the support came from monetary methods, or encouragement, or any of other method, I am very grateful and thankful for it.
What this means is that I can finally get my life back on track. For the blog, a couple arcs have been planned, but they’ll have to be put on hold until I get settled in next month. And they’re intense arcs.
But bottom line, thank you again to everyone here who’s had my back. You’re a family to me, and I love you all.
