not everyone who unfollows over sj stuff unfollows because they disagree with it? a lot of the topics that social justice deals with can be extremely emotionally exhausting and for some people can cause or increase anxiety and so on. there are people who, understandably, can’t deal with a lot of those kinds of things. don’t you fucking dare call people “trash” for trying to take care of themselves and for putting their own mental health first
And sometimes people just get tired of seeing the same rant over and over and over and over and over and over and over

I’ve never really been “invited” into a project.
I just happened to be there at the time. Or got dragged in. Or I start the project.

Alas, I can’t be the writer-director-producer-illustrator for everything I run. There will be times where I will need someone else to work with.
Actually, one of those times is now.
When a group project comes into light, I get hesitant because I don’t like working in groups too often and I have trust issues with group members.
I’d very much prefer to work alone so I know that work is being done when it is.
However, I myself am an unreliable person who can’t be trusted full with working on a project.

reddit.comIt’s a thread like this that reminds me of how frickin’ exciting it was to be a brony back in 2011 and 2012. Everyone was so nice and welcoming and it really felt like a tightly wound community. Of course there some bad eggs, but that was quickly overshadowed by everyone’s friendliness.
Even today! It’s just harder to see nowadays on this website.
People like these still make me feel optimistic and glad for being part of this fandom. No matter what the loudmouths of Tumblr have to say about it.
