To be honest, Mr. Cactus... the dark themes in PC and RC (and the not so dark, though slightly more grim and serious world of PvD) do actually make me worry a little bit about you. What if it's one of those cases where the artist's work reflects his inner turmoils? For your sake, I hope the lives of you and your friends are better than those of your Five Angry Horses.

Unfortunately, you are correct. A lot of the content in PC is loosely based off of my own experiences with life and other people. Not completely, though, to prevent it from becoming my vent blog.

But really, it’s only PC.

RC requires some research and personal moral insight to write for. It’s my “what if” story.

Diaries is my dream world. A near-perfect utopia, but with something more sinister in play.

Coincidence? Or am I about to be burned at the stake? o-o

In your opinion, what makes FlutterDash "work"? I think that RD is just too ambitious and aggressive to make for a good romantic partner for someone as fragile as FS. She goes better with someone naturally tough, like Applejack or Twilight Sparkle.

I have an odd way of shipping.

Either there’s some overwhelming cute factor to it, or something a bit more logical and/or cheap. Or a bit of both.

FlutterDash definitely has a lot a cute potential in it. And really, I also can’t see them as true lovers in a relationship because of the stark personality differences.

But they really fit together as good friends. They have a great history of friendship and their personalities are nice complements with how Rainbow Dash encourages Flutters to see her true potential and how Flutters keeps Dashie in line with her brazenness.

Also, cuuuuute.

Of course, that isn’t my top ship. RariDash* and RumbleLoo are my tops ships for the really lame reason of “because I’m writing that into my blogs.”

*Here’s a dumb footnote. I only truly enjoy RariDash with a burning passion in context with Ponyville Diaries.

And because Act 4 was a time skip. Assume that he earned his mark somewhere during the summer between the end of A3 and A4.
