Sometimes I write some jokes/gags for PC just to potentially piss people off, but they never get finalized for that reason.
I think this next update will be the first to contain such a joke.
This is the best explanation I could come up with for why it takes me so long to do updates sometimes when, at other times, I’m typing them up like clockwork.

I’ve been wanting to go to Bronycon (or any con as a matter of fact) for 2 years. And I actually thought I had a chance for 2014.
BUT. That summer is being dedicated to college visiting. And I don’t know if our travel dates will overlap with the con. And I probably won’t know until the last minute. >_<
I will try to go to a con based in NYC or Philadelphia, since those seem to happen in the spring and I won’t need to worry about hotels. No promises though.

Yes, letting her go out at night unattended, not teaching her sexual precautions when she reaches puberty (I mean, COME ON, puberty does not just HAPPEN one day without it being noticed for girls!), constantly shoving consequences down her throat immediately after the infamous incident without any real guidance or support and putting her own FINANCIAL problems ahead of her adopted daughter’s safety is clearly what a responsible caretaker does.
I’d reword that.
She did what she thought was best for Scootaloo. She had good intentions, but didn’t pan out the right way.
And come on. Give her a break with that. She’s a first time adoptive mother in her 40s. As if she’s gonna learn how to be the perfect mother right on the spot. She made her mistakes, and vows to never make them again. Just like any normal person would.
On a related note, what’s more peculiar is that the character who basically fucked Scootaloo over in the first place is apparently given more sympathy than Sandy. :T
If you’re rude to your followers, I will immediately unfollow you
Just want to get this off my chest:
When people say “I don’t care if you unfollow me, it’s my blog I owe you nothing” it’s a huge turn off for me. You SHOULD care about your followers to an extent, not the the point you obsess about your numbers and publicly announce you lost one or stalking the unfollower down and confronting them, because that’s you thinking about yourself. Losing a follower is someone making a choice to leave for whatever reason and if you try to get sympathy from announcing you lost one, it’s just not something I want to hear because losing followers is natural and you should respect your followers enough to let them leave peacefully. They’re real people with real feelings, saying you don’t care if one leaves would be like them saying “I don’t care if you don’t post”
And yes you owe them nothing, and they owe you nothing. But they’re giving time out of their day to you and you technically don’t owe anyone in your life anything, but what kind of world would it be if no one gave each other things? If you’re rude to them, they’ll be more willing to lash out at you (Unless they’re trolls, those always lash out…)
I just think people need to be more considerate in general. Having different interests, opinions and knowing different things is not an invitation to be rude. The world is already so negative I only want to follow good hearted people who make the world seem a little brighter.

Here’s a video of most of the panel that I did with friends at Bronycan! The initial concept was pretty much a carbon copy of TJ’s at Bronycon, but we reworked it from the ground up to give it our own special flare. I was kinda worried that we wouldn’t get much of an audience, since Bronycan is kind of a small convention, but I was happily surprised to find that we got a pretty decent turnout!

Unfortunately, the Celestia Radio crew that was recording us had an equipment failure. :(
Thankfully, I had set up my own camera as backup. :)
Unfortunately, that camera randomly turned itself off halfway through, meaning that I don’t have the entire thing. :C
It made it all the way through us talking about Tumblr itself and the types of blogs, but failed partway through us talking about social interaction. That means that we don’t have any footage of us taking questions. Kinda sad.
Us panelists (Me, CrusaderVX, Rai, and AutonomousZed had a whale of a time, the audience dynamic was pretty good, we had some great questions, and I think it turned out pretty damn well.
Since at Bronycon, we didn’t end up making a presentation, I wanted to make sure that we had one for this one. I’m really pleased with the final product in that regard. You can see the individual slides of the presentation at the end of the video (set to music!), but in case you’re too lazy to watch the whole vid here they are:

Tried redesigning Lil Boulder a bit.
Look look look, I even doodled her in her apron for the Olive Pasture, where she alternates cooking pasta and being a waitress! Because what better way to leave your mark on society than serving chicken alfredo to hungry ponies, eh? EH?
Character design isn’t my strongest attribute at all but it was still fun to experiment with. Though I don’t really know what I’m gonna do with her, other than to have some sort of representation of my mod blog for whatever reason. Maybe I’ll think of something, who knowsssss
