first picture was me messing with grey scale shading, i used my old technique of spray can and blur tool.
the second in a colour picture but this time i used the brush tool with a bit more touch of blur. both are kind of unruly still though. i may have to develop my own brush for shading.
Rants of 16 March 2013, part 2
(This one is potentially drama-inducing since it involves a former project that I was part of and I may have left some sour feelings of betrayal. So I’m putting under a break.)

When writing Post Crusade, I had to think carefully about the ages of the CMCs in order to keep it relatively close to canon. AB was 12 when I started, and is currently 13.
I just found out that Apple Bloom had a scripted age and decided to (hastily) apply that and attempt to match it up with PC. This is the result.
TL;DR: If AB was 7 at the start of S1 and if birthday was in October like I had written, then she would’ve aged almost perfectly against PC’s timeline.

It sucks having a duty to so many people but is surrounded by the worst environment to do so.
My parents hate me when I’m drawing or on the computer. I’m restricted to the point where I can barely interact with people without being scolded or even punished. And it’s turning out to be too much to bear.
