What's the distinction between a vector and a not-a-vector?

Asked by Anonymous

According to Simple English Wikipedia, raster (non-vectors) graphics:

… is one of two kinds of computer graphics. With raster graphics, images are modeled as big collections of pixels. Usually they form an image shaped like a rectangle. Each pixel holds something, like color or transparency.

And vectors:

is a type of computer graphics. Vector graphics uses geometrical objects, like points, lines, curves, and polygons to model the image.

For the record, I’m just experimenting again with vectors.

I prefer actually drawing the characters, though. It just feels more comfortable.

You're using inkscape?

Yep! It’s been my primary vectoring tool for a while.

Yes, I have vectored before.

Fuck. I missed my bus, and my school laptop is being held hostage in the tech center.

What kind of crazy person makes an official cast change announcement months after deciding so?! Oh well.

As of June 2012, Pip is not part of the PC cast. Leaving the main cast at five ponies.

Need a story? Fine.

Pip was never in PC Ponyville to begin with. He moved somewhere else a while before. (Explaining the forest background in that one comic.)

His father is a part of the Royal Navy, and they move between many stations. His time in Ponyville was up and they moved to Naval Port Yellowhoof (Northern Province, north of Manehattan, and everyone speaks like a Canadian). It’s near a forest.

It is believed that their next location is Port Bridge in The Frozen North.

He might cameo in the future.

Oi! The belly is a temporary thing! I'm not even keeping it anyway! *Pouts about that* Not like YOU'RE going to be responsible for it, geeze!
