Wow that sure was a finale. To the series, I hope. That seemed like an end-of-series moment. To be honest, this whole shebang is getting old.

… WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN “SEASON 6 HAS ALREADY BEEN CONFIRMED”? OH MY GOD, I’M SO TIRED OF THIS BULLSHIT

Me and my wife agree that this season was the last for us.

S6 is gonna be the last for me. Because it’s probably gonna start in the second half of 2016, and then run all the way into 2017 for a spring finale. Following that is the horse movie in November, which might read like a series finale.

But Hasbro probably won’t let it end there. They’re probably looking to Spongebob it and the ride will never end. Not to say that an S7 would be nice (assuming decent writing on average). But at some point, not hitting all the sour tropes indicative a show running for too long is going to be impossible.

I feel the need to shoutout to all the great friends I’ve made these last few years. You guys have made my 4 years in this fandom well worth it. Thank you.

So what is even the point of multiple desktops on WIndows 10?

It’s not like it’s useful, one change to one desktop reflects across all of them, so I can’t set up an “art desktop”, a “programming desktop” and a “general fucking around desktop” since the shortcuts on the desktop/taskbar/start menu itself would all be amalgamated anyway, so it all just becomes three big “general fucking around desktops”.

I’m failing to see the point of it.

It’s for people who have fuckloads of windows and applications open at the same time, like me <_>

I use multiple desktops to homework, mostly. Having Word or Visual Studio in any state other than maximized bugs me out so I have a separate desktop for that with the assignment details or program specs on another. And I switch between them using [Ctrl]-[Win]-[Right] or [Left]

Some people separate their IM stuff and browser windows into other desktops as well.

To me at least, it’s much easier to work with instead of [Alt]-[Tab]ing through a long list of open windows the time. I remember falling in love with Spaces on Mac OS X when I used it years ago, so having it natively on Windows makes me happy.

(Not to say that having separate desktop icon arrangements wouldn’t be super cool, though. o: *writes a note to Microsoft*)

From my occasional usage of Inkscape on a potato, I can say that it can be fairly heavy on the CPU when you do things, i.e. when it has to update the screen. E.g. for me it will frequently tear and be sluggish when scrolling. So maybe you're trying to do too much things at once or something is overloading the program (if your laptop = your SP3 however that shouldn't be an issue). Edit>Preferences>Rendering has a couple options regarding this behavior, so maybe that can help.

It’s not that Inkscape becomes unresponsive and freezes whenever I’m working on images because of performance issues. It just doesn’t want to recognize my mouse input consistently.

I try to move a shape with the Select tool but it doesn’t even want to select the shape to start with. Funnily enough, if I click and drag, it forms a selecting area. So Inkscape is recognizing that input. But if I try to move a selected shape by clicking and dragging, it doesn’t move. Instead, a new selecting area is made and I throw a fit.

I go to click something on any one of the toolbars and it doesn’t register unless I mash on some keyboard buttons or bring another window up and return back. The menu bar is the only thing I can actually click on that registers. Every other button and object (including the scroll bars) refuse to cooperate.

And this all starts even with a new and blank file.

oooOoh my god I am going to break my surface pro 3 over my knee

i got it specifically so I could do updates on it

but it can’t even handle photoshop and freezes up every two seconds

EVEN THOUGH ALL THE REVIEWS I READ SAID IT COULD RUN IT FINE

it’s been dumb since I got it last year but doing tonight’s update on it was like 100x more frustrating than usual holy god

4/10 would not recommend for anything more than internet browsing D<

Oh damn. o-o

I’ve been using an SP3 for updating and drawing stuff while I’m away in college and haven’t had an issue with it (aside from driver problems).

And these are 3200x2400px canvases with brush effects and the occasional shading and +200MB files. That stuff tends to rev the CPU fan to the max but I haven’t had anything crash or slow down because of it.

Then again, I don’t use Photoshop so I dunno. ‘~’
