Eh.

I guess it’s due to the people I follow and/or the friends I have, but I’m starting to get the impression that MLP is entering denouement.

Don’t get me wrong, season 5 has been great. But the recent bout of “meh” episodes has been getting me to think that maybe the writers are starting to hit a couple of walls.

Especially with Twilight. Good lord. All season, she’s been practically absent and in the times she has been the focus, she doesn’t even sound like herself. Like she’s just hanging around not doing anything productive, exaggerating her worries, and just appearing to be simply useless! This princess thing has been essentially detrimental to her development as she’s apparently hit her peak and has nowhere to go but straight down. Ugh. And she was one of my favorite characters :c

Of course, I’m probably gonna eat these words by the time the finale hits. Maybe it’s some intentional bug that becomes the focus of the last two episodes. But even after that, I fear that S6 will only continue this trend downhill. All the way to the series’ completion.

That grand feeling when a class you want to take in the spring (that is full) has a seat opening and you nab it in time.

I’m really confused by this because none of these numbers add up to 100
Well the pie chart is males under 18 vs females over 18, so I can see where that and the race one can have additional categories they’re not showing, but the main male v female one only adding up to 79% definitely makes me wonder what they’re not showing.
A pie chart implies it is representing a whole, not 53%, and not comparing two sides that don’t make sense to be compared. Women over 18 vs. Boys under 18? Why?
And the race one adds up to 127% so are they saying that 39% of white people play games?
No damn sense, any of it.

Here’s a chart grabbed from Pew’s survey, the source of that infograph above. The numbers aren’t meant to fill up a whole 100% because the percentages aren’t divisions of the 40% of all people who own a console. They’re actually tied to the demographic itself.

45% of Hispanics in the survey owned a console. 42% of women in the survey owned a console. 56% of the 18-29 age group in the survey owned a console. And etc.

That’s how you’re supposed to read it. Not as “42% of the adults who own a console are women” like OP implied.

I’m surprised I haven’t heard the theory that Tumblr is intentionally changing up features just so they can drive the “core base” (that being, dumb people we complain about a lot like fandoms, SJWs, teenagers who think they’re hot shit, etc) away and thus improve the reputation of the site in the long run.
