How to Make Skype 7.0 (“new skype”) Freeze
- Have window mode set to classic
- Accidentally click on some chat, be it group or private
- Quickly click on your intended chat.
- Enjoy 2-5 minutes of a frozen window
Go fuck yourself, Microsoft.
yeah new skype looks terrible and I unupgraded and set it to not upgrade itself ever pretty much immediately. Good to see that was the correct decision.
On the plus side the ads are gone.
There are still ads in the “Home” screen thing that no one uses. So that probably doesn’t count as much.
And they still have this banner hanging over chat screens (and wasting vertical space >:c), but it only seems to advertise how-tos on using the very program you’re currently using. (/’-’)/
