sit
and draw
just for hours on end
do nothing but sit and draw
how do you get that kind of focus
by that time i’ve gotten distracted five times, gotten frustrated or bored three times, and been killed by an oncoming train at least once
Sometimes I can get into a modeling project that I’ll do that. Can’t do it with painting though, have to keep taking breaks.
This is the only way I can actually draw stuff. Long unending sessions of nothing but me sitting in a chair and moving a pen around. Not that I want to; it just sort of happens. Immerse in music, start a couple lines, and suddenly 8 hours pass and the thing is done. Breaks come in the form of checking Skype and also bathrooms.
This mildly bad habit is the reason I’ve been having trouble finding time to draw in college. >_>
