As I enter in the fifth year of being in this fandom, a question comes to mind.

Am I still a brony/pony fan/whatever the term is now? Or have I moved into some weird post-horse stage where I look back on my past in agony while simultaneously questioning my current position on MLP and my future in it?

Old timers, help me out with this one pls.

  2. carrotquill said: part of growing up is realising that you can’t define yourself by single interests, you are multi-facited, the melancholy you feel could be fear of losing social status because you arn’t so easy to define anymore, but that will mostly pass as you learn to love being more then a single or collection of interests and start being you.
  3. pvryohei said: Heh, you like some things and later you distance yourself, or other times you grow fonder. It comes and goes. Personally speaking, if I like something I just like it, trying to fit into labels for these things is kind of silly.
