Is it wrong, that as a comic writer, I want to protect my ideas for the characters and the story?

Is it selfish of me for keeping PC a relatively closed universe, and tend not to accept ideas from other sources?

  1. gaymemequeen answered: No it is not, I do the same exact thing. Although sometimes it is helpful, your imagination carries the best advice, not from somebody else.
  2. cyber-wing answered: You’re the director. People can give ideas, but in the end you dicide what to write/draw.
  3. sgt-byrd answered: No, your comic, your story, you have complete control over it. Accepting fan input isn’t mandatory, it’s up to you.
  4. colakev answered: Not at all. It’s your story to tell the way you want to.

  7. ask-alpha-robot answered: It’s okay to draw inspiration from many places but in the end it’s up to you to decide how you want to draw your comic. Trust yourself
  8. blacklinrps answered: No it’s not wrong. It’s entirely your right to keep it a closed universe. I
  9. the-lovely-lady-rel answered: I think that that’s completely alright
  10. gamerscootaloo answered: And keep it that way, your work is awesome as it is.
  11. arthek answered: As Post Crusade’s writer you’re entirely within your rights to not accept suggestions from other sources
