PC: Behind the Scenes - Snow

My brother calls it genius. I call it a bit lazy. Rather than redraw tiny snowflakes for every panel, I use this.

This is the overlay layer of snow I used in the recent panels on Post Crusade (laid out on a 2000x5000 canvas).

It’s made up of three different little tiles of snow that were grouped and duplicated to form a larger overlay.

PC panels are drawn on a 1080x1920 canvas (Yes. In HD). So the final panel would have a small portion of this layer visible. I can move the layer around to simulate falling/blowing snow. For heavier snow, I duplicate the overlay and shift it around a bit to not look obvious.

Similarly, I have a crude rain overlay from the Nightmare Night comic.
