Alright. Time to elaborate. SPOILERS ABOUND
I’m not saying the idea was bad. I’m just saying that the pacing was too fast in the end.
Flutters deceiving us and her friends for the duration of the episode was great. I never saw it coming. She knew exactly what to do and how to handle it, without giving blaring hints.
But it’s that same ending that got me. I was expecting a more dramatic downfall. And I guess that’s what got me a bit disappointed. It kinda felt like Discord just surrendered immediately instead of him slowly realizing it.
But, like everyone said, it’s just a kid’s show, and I’m over-thinking it.
Overall, the episode was fairly good and there were those great Discord moments that had me laughing. Maybe we’ll see some more draconequus shenanigans in the future.
