This should be the last of any whiny posts. I sincerely apologize for anyone who is tired of these.

Everyone is free to comment on this. I am not viciously attacking either side. I just want to lay out my thoughts about DWM instead of vaguely yelling about it.

I respect many of the people who are involved, and my opinions of them have not changed.

A building’s on fire.

A tip goes out that there’s a particularly important part of the fire on the floor where pony toys are sold. This gets a firefighter upset, and the squadron rushes off to fight the inferno.

However, they only are focusing on one of the rooms that are filled with pony toys. They rally other volunteers to help fight the fire in the room. They criticize anyone not helping them. Then they pat themselves on the back for being heroes while the fire rages on everywhere else.

It’s a good start in fighting the fire, though. Their efforts and collaboration are noteworthy. But the general mindset of the squad has some issues.

Meanwhile, the room’s regular customers stand outside the building, admiring how glorious the blaze in the room looks. They are idiots for not realizing how serious the fire is. But the fire really is a sight to see, and some people just like it and that may never change. Some are even bigger idiots who prefer to have the fire stay and fight the firefighters.
