So if other people say it, it’s racist or offensive.
But if the group of people being referred to use it, it being a word that has a history of being extremely derogatory towards that group, it’s okay?

Why?
And that’s not a “tumblr” why. It’s a legitimate why. I never understood how someone can just agree to refer themselves as something offensive and get angry when others use it as well.
If my people were called shitheads for a century along with active abuse injustice, and degradation, I don’t think I’d like to keep using it among ourselves…
