Are your wisdom teeth already starting to erupt? My first one didn't come out until I was 21.
An earlier x-ray at another office revealed that both my bottom wisdom teeth are impacting my molars and pushing them inwards. I still have braces, so this is a big issue. (My teeth hate me.)
However, this office has an x-ray on file from last year that showed no sign of the teeth coming out anytime soon. So they have to run their own to make sure.
