So, what happened?

Basically, I got into a heated argument with my mom about my health and school performance. In the argument, she told me some things that basically said that whatever I do and say falls under her discretion. Like my good grades and the 13 years of striving to be a top student wasn’t for my benefit, but some stupid dream of hers. And basically everything I do is mainly just for her. I tell her about me being overwhelmed by work and her solution was to do more work, and quit drawing and chatting with friends.

So yeah, my announcement was forced.

And the revelation put me in a bad place. A really bad place. I won’t get into that.

The past week was rough and all, but fortunately, I have had the support of my best friends, my counselors, and my teachers. Unfortunately, I can no long trust my parents to help me with psychological issues. So that’s bad.

I will attempt to start drawing again, albeit with a certain amount of secrecy. I was expecting a return in late November when things have cooled down some more, but lilboulder inspired me to come out of it a little earlier. So thanks to her. ^^
