Mr. Cactus, when you started on the works that would eventually become Post Crusade, what made you decide to emphasize Apple Bloom's artistic ability? That side of her was presented in "The Show Stoppers" but then was largely ignored in favor of her talents in construction and later in making potions.

The Proto-PC works were written during FiM’s second season. At the time, there wasn’t any other theory for AB’s talent other than art/design as seen in “Show Stoppers.” Other than the Zap Apple talent theory, which I though was the stupidest theory ever at the time. (I still dislike it.)

Notice how I said art/design. That’s my future-proofing effort, and will be touched upon later in PC.

I never thought potions would become a possibility. But it makes sense because of a certain friendly zebra.

Nope. This is a normal thing, kinda.

I have asthma, currently take immunization shots, and currently wearing braces. Asthma tests are annual, and immunization and orthodontist checks are monthly.

For some reason, all THREE of the respective appointments fell on the exact same day today. So I had to wake up at 8 and be on the road hopping around for 5 hours.

Written? You mean possible ideas for your blogs, or more like fanfics? (I know you've written at least one, that old SpikeBloom fic you mentioned deep in the annals of your DA journal) Either way, I'd like to see them.

It’s a bit of both.

Obviously, WIP scripts for PC and Diaries are rather confidential. So no peeking.

But I do have ideas for fanfics and such. Many of them have been started but shelved for the moment.

An old one is a zombie apocalypse short story/comic about a mare with a foal looking for the foal’s parents in an abandoned city riddled with the undead and whatnot. (Lucky)

There’s also a sad ghost story starting Sweetie and Scootaloo. Need I say more? (Zero Days)

On the lewder side, I have a fic idea about Spike dealing with mares and their battle with the heat cycle. Oddly enough, it’s not a clopfic. It’s maturely themed, but there’s no sex as the focus. That one’s fun to write. (The Garden State)

One is a more comedic story about Rumble and Dinky trapped in a ditch for two hours and they keep trying to cope with each other. This one is a bit cool because it’s PC’s first official spinoff fic. (Diabetics and Detours)

On the note of spinoffs, Diaries may also get a companion fic that acts as a universe-builder. (The Immigrant’s Guide to Equestria)

There’s a lot more floating around, but too underdeveloped or secret to mention.

Mr. Ham, I've said it a few months ago, but I seriously do think you could draw anthro ponies well. You obviously have ideas on a good look for them and you are able to draw hands to at least some decent extent (see the various pics of Spike you've done). If you have time for it, could you give it a try? (and I know this isn't a TMI ask but oh well :x)

I have tried a couple times.

But I struggle a lot with hands and the lower body. That, and I would have to come up with a new art style to make them work the way I want them to.

Maybe someday I’ll be able to draw a decent pose that’s worthy enough to be posted.
