Who wants to have their OC/blog character hugged? No one? Well fine, I never liked you anyway. BUT IF YOU DID! Here’s your chance!

To celebrate 550+ followers, I’m starting a small contest! Why? Because I like playing follow the leader and have no original ideas of my own, that’s why! Don’t judge me.

Anyway, the rules are listed below as well as the generic and not-so-spectacular ‘prize’ you could win! Because something is better than nothing, right? No? Well, whatever, it’s happening anyway.

Rules:

  • You must reblog this post!
  • You MUST choose a filly pegasus! I won’t accept ‘any of them’ or similar answers, so be specific!
  • You must be a follower! This is a thank you to you guys after all!
  • You can choose any pegasus filly you please!

The winners will get their OC or blog character drawn getting a hug from the filly of their choice! Wow, THAT’S A LOW PRICE!

Don’t look at me like that, I told you there wasn’t much I could offer. It’s just a fun little something to celebrate all of the awesome people who raised my self-esteem and got me back into drawing when I was on the verge of giving up. I honestly appreciate you guys, and I wish I could offer more than just a simple sketch of your character and a filly. But oh well, may as well offer something, amirite?

Deadline:

  • This contest ends Friday, April 12th, so you have one week to enter. Should be plenty of time, yes? Yes,
  • The winners will be chosen randomly via a name generator. Gotta give a chance to everyone! I promise to keep it fair.

I was drawing another update, and I just suddenly stopped to think.

PC Derpy is a bit different from the general fanon that the fandom associates with her. Rather than being a complete goofball, she’s more of a jokester and lighthearted. The spectacles help her eyes stay in focus. She’s a long-distance mailmare who often away most of the time.

There’s not a big difference. But knowing how overprotective some people are with their beloved background pony, I’m expecting a bit of a backlash once I dive in deeper in her character.

Then again, I could just be paranoid.
