Wasn't it postcrusade though? Or was it post-crusade. One of those. Like, it carried over from DA onto here.

post-crusade is actually my second pony ask/story blog and my third one overall.

First blog was ask-the-cmc, a failed entry into Tumblr in early January 2012. I shut the blog fairly quickly and erased the whole account. The URL is currently in use by someone else.

Second blog overall is this one, back when I used it as a placeholder blog named dtcx97.

When PC became a thing on DeviantArt, I started a blog for it attached to this one. Obviously, this entry was much more successful. :2

What if someone were to copy your style?

Sue the massive shit out of them. >:c

Actually no. I’d be fine with it.

I don’t own the style, nor did I come up with it. Tons of people use a lineless style. Maybe the way I use it is different, but that’s pretty much it.

Do you remember how/when you came up with your current artstyle? Like, what did you notice about how you could change around your lines and color to make what you have on Post-Crusade now? It's fairly interesting, is why I'm asking.

I started using it over a year ago. July 15, 2012 to be exact.

It was mostly experimental. I was looking for ways to draw comics faster and change poses easily. The result was a puppet-like figure that could have its body parts moved with ease because they were on independent layers. Lines went away because they added more layers, and it looked cools without lines.

The style evolved as I started drawing more influences for some of my old childhood picture books and also South Park.
