I decided that all my NSFW ramblings shall be tagged #not safe for mod.
Just blacklist it using whatever blacklister you have if you don’t want a part of it.
Running Babblr. Here’s the scoop.
- It slows down the dashboard a notch. If you have a slow connection, you might notice it more.
- The browser scroll-bar vanishes. This may be a launch bug.
- It asks for read and write permissions of your account because it wants to gather your follower lists.
- It is too early to tell if it’s malicious. From what we, it seems legit. It’s simply another browser extension for Tumblr (like Missing E or Tumblr Savior).
- Posts that say that this is virus are probably just mass hysteria over a new thing. People tend to get super paranoid and start spreading their fears all over.
- If you do feel a bit unsafe, you can change your email and/or password. But don’t start spreading claims that are unverified.
