Man, sometimes you really underestimate how important a smartphone becomes to your life.

No quick access to weather when you wake up, no checking on bus schedules, no walking music, no mobile skype/discord/groupme chatting, etc.

And no camera scanner app to fetch a nice pic of this map in my meteorology textbook so I could do my homework due this afternoon. It’s the little things 8T

Err, someone’s going around submitting a music video (Crosa Rosa - Like a Lady) to people. It’s not malware or anything, it’s just a YouTube embed.

Probably some sort of promotion to get views? Who knows.

post-cactus:

So half of the classes I have to take next semester have all of their sections filled up and in waitlist mode.

I have 4 days left until I register.

I’m so fucked, it’s not even funny ;2;

UPDATE

Okay so the university has a lot of crosslisted courses, meaning that they span departments by name, but are really just the same course with the same material, and meeting room/time.

For example: The class about Elementary Probability is designated as STAT 318, and MATH 318.There’s only section available for next semester, with a total capacity of 50 enrolled and 35 waitlisted.

Now get this.

The scheduling database has them listed separately with a footnote stating that the two are combined. The STAT entry is filled closed, but the MATH entry is still open with 6 seats still up for grabs.

IT’S THE SAME CLASS. WHAT THE HELL IS THE POINT.

My default reaction to shitty political landscapes and their fruits is to dive into my little fantasy world and simulate my own political system that is just as bad (or even worse), but palatable for an audience as a fiction.

I don’t think it’s healthy but it’s super fun, I’ll tell you that.
