Every few months during spring and summer, the West End of N. Plainfield enters “yard sale” mode. The streets are packed with people and cars and tables with old products to resell.
The main event is the GIANT sale on Vermule Mansion, which is an old house about a block from where I live. Then there’s the lazy ones who hold their little sales on their property. Neon advertising signs as far as the eye can see…
It’s been raining a bit all day, but that doesn’t stop ol’ West End from going out to buy cheap $2 Polaroid cameras and China plates.
