“Didn’t you say in your blog that you used to use puppets?”

Time to clarify.

I’m not entirely sure what to call them.

Basically, one character is made up of 25-40 layers, and each one corresponds to a specific body part. So each part is can be easily edited or redrawn. I call them puppets because of how similar the format is to something like the official MLP rigs or the Double Rainboom rigs.

However, unlike those two examples, I don’t use Flash. So the rig isn’t vectorized, there are no symbols, and there’s no library of pre-made edits to body-parts.

Everything is rendered in Paint Tool SAI.

I’m not sure if these can be called puppets, but they do work similarly to them.

Every time I do one of those drawings, I can’t help but realize that almost every one of them has (or has had) some sort of error, mostly anatomical goofs or missing elements.

The only one that hasn’t been caught with errors has been “Candlelight.”

A while ago, I followed my 600th blog. So I decided to do a cleanup. In the end, I was down to 523.

Now I’m back to 600. ._.

Oh boy.

For the past few days, I’ve been unmotivated as fuck.

Now, I’m itching to get back to work. But then school/parents came along and decided to pile a bunch of stuff on my shoulders. Priorities. v_v

Unfortunately, when this happens, I enter a loop of bullshit. Where I spend my free days with art block, but my motivated days under mountains of exams and homework. And by the time all that work is done, I become unmotivated yet again.

Buh.

Another day, another Tumblr/Chrome bug.

When I open photosets on the dashboard and click the pic to go to the next one, the Dash would scroll back to the top in the background.

And the “[person] reblogged you [person] [person] posted” bug that pops up when people reblogs themselves is still present. That may be an Xkit issue, though.
