The hard part about using the three rubies as her mark is trying to come up with a talent to go with them.

My one idea is that her talent is making hard candies, but is really too lazy to fulfill that. :/

I was drawing another update, and I just suddenly stopped to think.

PC Derpy is a bit different from the general fanon that the fandom associates with her. Rather than being a complete goofball, she’s more of a jokester and lighthearted. The spectacles help her eyes stay in focus. She’s a long-distance mailmare who often away most of the time.

There’s not a big difference. But knowing how overprotective some people are with their beloved background pony, I’m expecting a bit of a backlash once I dive in deeper in her character.

Then again, I could just be paranoid.
