As to Karli’s other concerns about inappropriate artwork and body pillows being in the dealers’ room, so far the previous response from BABSCon security makes that look like a fabrication. Karli also mentioned other inappropriate chatter in the original post, but once again, she failed to alert anyone in charge.
Remember, if you don’t report what you see, you’re just adding to the problem. The behavior of a few can tarnish the reputation of many.
Meanwhile, it seems that a would-be abductor may have been stopped by the actions of the SacAnime booth staff, but they’re still out there because of mishandling the situation.
Once again, I wasn’t there. I can only hope that someone with a camera, or perhaps a security camera picked up something, and we can remove the bad seed responsible for what happened.
