Cactus: There have been 2 attempts to recolonize the area bordering the forbidden forest. The original was abandoned after the events surrounding Luna's banishment ('member that?). The first attempt to recolonize that area had a bad end. The second attempt (made by Granny's family) was successful.
Übertreiber: Ponyville originally was Sunny Town which was the city near the Royal Sisters' Castle.
Übertreiber: Ponies never found out what happened to its twin village, Loony Town.
